Coming Together

Come again replant those trees
Come again let's start this over
Come away and take my peace
Come and take this four leaf clover
Come get on this bus where our lives entwine

Reasonable doubts surface
Don't let our trees catch on fire
Our tongues dull from the taste
Arms begin to tire
Maybe we were never meant to hold these hands together

The hammer falls and we've been sold
Any price is selling short
Crooked lines that can't be made straight
Stop praying to your lord
Don't forget, whatever happens, I'll never love you.

The End
