Cobbled Streets

I couldn't forget you if I tried.

Await
that ringing noise
around my finger
gingerly thinking
you may linger here
in my heart.

Await
that returning kiss
that missing moment
between our lips
I'm happy to be here
alone.

I
need
very little
nowadays.

but
know; I need you.

Days like this make this love hard,
strange what experiences I remember
what one's I don't.
Seems my happiest moments
come from the most mundane activities,
Not the lust, but the love.

Crossing cobbled streets,
your arms around my neck.
 That's one of those moments,
I will never, ever forget.

The End
