Clutching Broken Poetry and Useless Words

This was originally titled "My Inability to Complete My Law Essay" because it was inspired by the writer's block I had while trying to complete my law essay, which I didn't even end up finishing, but whatever.
I finally changed the title, and I'm about 65% happy with it, so it may change again.
PLEASE FEEL WELCOME TO LEAVE SUGGESTIONS BECAUSE I SUCK AT TITLING MY WRITING thank you.

She destroyed everything

she touched.

She tried,

oh! How hard she tried.

Gently caressing each word.

And trying to turn them all

into something beautiful.

Yet they crumbled around her

and fell from her delicate hands,

in their haste to break

from her despair.

And she could not make them stay;

could not entice those words back.

Because they ran on the wind;

as tantalising as they are cruel.

And so she wept,

and could no longer form words,

in the ruins

of her tragic poesy.

Because in her quest to make

something beautiful,

all she had done

was show her failings

to the world.

The End
