16. Before Time

I was a child, before time,

And I was innocent, free

These chains did not bind me,

And my future, my past, were mine

I ran away with time,

And then I ran away;

I laughed, and I knew

I would never face it again

I ran away from time, as a child,

I suppose all children think they’re free;

I wonder if there is such a thing?

Because now time has caught up to me

The End
