Clearer Vision

Thin, concave plates of glass are embedded

within bent, discolored metal.

Arms stretch back, grasped

onto cartilage wings.

Flexible lens, stored in solution,

vacuum onto spheres coated with liquid.

Mechanisms that rectify blurred perception,

but do they give a clearer vision?

Mankinds errors are left in the dark,

trapped in a dome of blight

Ignored entirely by the masses,

seems even the blind have better sight.
