Childhood Dreams

Excuse the lack of quality. I don't write well when I am up extremely early.

Childhood Dreams

As a child,

It was my dream,

To grow up,

And be a queen.

I wanted the crowns,

Jewelry,

Fame,

And love.

I wanted to be seen,

From high above.

I wanted to rule a country,

And make everyone smile.

I wanted to be royalty,

And stay that way for a while.

I wanted a prince charming,

A love that was true.

I wanted every dress,

In pink, purple, and blue.

I do admit,

These expectations were high.

But as a child,

These things make your imagination thrive.

The End
