Prudence the Student

Prudence
The student
A right proper pupil

She
Possessed
The best sort of scruples

Got
Good grades
And she studied hard

Held
Teachers
In highest of regard

Did
Not have
Much of a social life

Would
Not make
The greatest trophy wife

But
Prudence
Graduated with ease

All
Her grades
Higher than lowly B's

She
Got a
Job that paid her well

But
The job
Became her daily hell

So
She went
Back to school again

And
Began
To exercise her brain

The
Moral
Of the tale is this

Good
Students
Might not be met with bliss

School
Is not
Exactly a profession

So
Do not
Make it your obsession

The End
