chains in my mind

oh god can no one

hear me, i'm screaming

so loud but no one takes notice

of the little girl by the side of

the street, face gutted, eyes

sunken and cheekbones gaunt

only a kind shopkeeper

who offers her to come inside,

but she's wary of stranagers

rightfully so.

The End
