Cerberus

It's about how anger can change a person

I'm buried beneath the secrets that I tried to escape

Sins bleeding out of the wounds and scrapes

I gave it all but hell opened fire in return

I gave it all but hell overwhelmed me in return

What pain exists in me screams out unendingly

A harbinger of my soul's doom, laughing unrelentingly

I did what I could, I fought until ruin crashed over me

I doused myself in blood, battling under hell's inferno snatched me away

I am nothing but a dog, tied to the leash

Once human, now feral, blood lust, bearing teeth

I am nothing but a dog, a hell beast unleashed

I'm rattled, knocked down but soon to recover

My blood turns to poison, I no longer recognise what I am

Designed by public opinion, transformed by fire and war

I formed a wall around myself, protection

As the darkness within spills out the door

I tried and I tried, even as the rifles starting blasting

A rage and fire unstoppable, a freight train crashing

I am nothing but a dog, tied to the leash

Once human, now feral, blood lust, bearing teeth

I am nothing but a dog, a hell beast unleashed

The End
