Cat
Ablaze in white shadows
Green eyes pierce through night
Slinking stealthily
Movement without sight
poking details of black light
with paws of bladed quiescence
slithering silently
she leaves sound far behind
for the undisturbed that still slumber
and through the night still sleep
she wishes not for their attention
nor their infectious intentions
