as he led me to bed,
as he played with my hair,
and kissed down my neck.

“It’s casual,” I said,
as my legs were spread,
as he held me tight,
and smiled as we slept.

as the conversation bled,
as our words fell like water,
and my heart beat sped.

“It’s casual,” I said,
as you played with my head,
when you said I was great,
and then spoke of your ex.
