Castle Doors

It's about the urge to explore and to travel

I stepped out into the light

Suddenly I began to run

Day fades, quickly into night

I found what  I was searching for

I found my soul, bursting like the sun

I stepped out the door with the best intentions

But today I found myself in apprehension

It was everything I wanted

Far beyond what I expected to see

You were everything I needed

Doors swing back and now I'm free

I turned back, but not with regret

I ran with you ever onward

We ran past this city far past the sunset

I found what  I was searching for

Finally running past the castle doors

It was everything I wanted

Far beyond what I expected to see

You were everything I needed

Doors swing back and now I'm free

The End
