Carpe Diem

Recommend

It's a bright warm summer's night,

I want to have some craic.

Hitchhike my way to Donegal,

I hitchhike my way back.

I'll dance beneath the moonlight,

I don't care where I'll go,

I'll seize the day and come what may

I'll still find my way home.

One day I'll go to Africa

To China and Japan

I'll see the sights of the broadway lights

Before I go home again!

I'll walk until my boots wear out,

I'll sleep beneath the stars,

It's how I'm going to see the world

Hitching lifts from passing cars...
