All those things you thought you needed to capture...

Nostalgia rules my mind,

The high you get from rewind;

For even a moment in dull night,

In memory no matter ,shines bright;

And so lived I ,behind my time,

In a past of colorful chimes;

But lay nought in such living,

For fools cherish in past ,being;

So one aim of mind I made,

To capture beautiful, anything that fades;

Then hither tither scrambled to find,

As years passed, my  face lined;

The something that wouldn't fade,

And keep my peace in an evergreen glade.

A day soon came,to accept my shame;

Put pride aside, be wise and sane.

Peace poured inside,as I realized;

The moment is all, and else is vain.

The End
