Cancun Rain

A lil something I wrote during a vacation when I went to Cancun.

We are like falling rain,

Ready for impact, ignorant of the impending pain.

We are like flashing lightning,

Zooming through time and space, oh so frightening!

We wished upon the same star to find love from afar.

Now here we are, giving each others' hearts like little mason jars.

I look into your portal-like eyes and hope to only say hello and no goodbyes,

So I'll take a chance by rolling fates dice, knowing I'll find you-even if it takes infinite tries.

The End
