This feeling is one of bliss

My headaches are gone, for now

The tumult inside my head’s calmed down

For once nothing’s amiss.

Eyes half closed, the sun’s in my mind

The big, bad wolf blew away the clouds

And from the effort, promptly passed out

I lay on the ground, I start to unwind

My wings unfurl, no longer tied behind my back

My life is lived between the cracks

And I am fine.
