Suicide voicesMature

Blinding lights,
Obscure the faces.
Red/gold carpet,
Burnt in places.

Tarnished silver,
Broken logs,
What shall I do?
My mind’s in such a fog.

Hear the voices,
Calling from
The deepest wells,
And poison frogs.

People I know,
People I knew,
All of whom’s voices
Are coming through.

Die tonight,
Die they say,
Better not
Run away.

Suicidal tendencies
Are keeping me
From living on,
Surrendering.

My soul I shall keep,
Mine to hold,
Forever and more.
Now I’m closing the door.

I hear the voices.
Everything they say.
Promising me not,
To go away.

The End
