BedsMature

I’m not sure
how to sleep
in my bed
anymore
left is not right
nor is the right
and the middle?
not even close.
not a place is correct
unless
you are there,
too.
warm,
and close
to me.
My bed is as lonely
as I am,
as quiet
echoes
between my walls
begging
for the sound of your voice
to resonate
in the cracks
and corners
again.
my bed
feels wrong.
It has for a long time.
I am so used
to sleeping on your right
but the right
is wrong,
and the left
is no more right.
