My nerves quiver
spilling on a page
of empty lines
and smeary ink
about a person
I didn't think I was
of what brews
in these veins
a cold lies within,
darling I swear
that I trust you
with every bone
in my body
She gives me a feeling
I'm not sure what to call
You don't worry me,
nor does she
there is a feeling
sweeping my veins
swallowing me whole
and I don't know
how much longer
I will be able to breathe

The End
