Atlas Wasn't A Titan General Zeus Is Just That Dick Who Likes To Punish Emotional TeenagersMature

We
as people
as small children
as planets
and galaxies
experience more
in a single
millennium
of a soul
and a century
of a lifetime
we
as adolescents

As titans
immortals
we
are separate
not because
we are better
not because
we are somehow
superior
as mankind
humankind
evolves
so
do we
slowly
sometimes
but steady
we know
who we are
even though
we need to know
who we are
going to be
our hearts
contain
too much
sometimes
and our souls
crack
under pressure
and stone
and worlds
we have yet
to find
in ourselves
we sing
and write
and scream
as though
someone else
that isn’t us
to each other-
to hear us
and bend down
and help us back up
but there is only
ourselves
to live
and learn
finding each other
and a new hand
to hold
every day
Greek
was built
on our shoulders
in our hands
our minds
tell us
where to go
and what we will build
next.
Be patient
and somber
and you won’t
have to wait
very long.

The End
