Friends made of Stitches

Everyday I think of you,
but everyday grows longer.
Farther away from where we were before,
and farther away from when I see you again...
I curl up tight
holding close what it is I have left from you:
A doll.
A small doll contructed by your hand
made only for me
which now holds my tears...
My new litte friend
made of stuffing and love.
She may not say much,
but she's all the comfort I can ask for.

The End
