Chapter I: Moonlight Owl

Enclose me in your silken wings,
Envelop me in moonlight,
Take me in your arms and tell me,
Everything’s alright.

I feel scared, frightened, alone,
But my heart longs for,
The owl that comes,
The one I adore.

You come at midnight,
Stay till dawn,
How can I express,
It was you I wanted all along.

My heart it beats,
Solely for you,
I’ve never felt like this it scares me,
this something new.

But you cut through night,
Fly to the stars,
With you I feel at home,
When wrapped in your arms.

My midnight owl,
My saviour from darkness,
The candle to light,
Banisher of harshness.

Enclose me in your silken wings,
Envelop me in moonlight,
Take me in your arms and tell me,
Everything’s alright.
