Blue

You say with cryptic words that we’ll have our love
but you still want to share the remains with your former
I am no one’s fool and I won’t be lead on
but I don’t mind upholding the plans we made

See his sleazy eyes scanning your body
he wants more than he can ever have
I don’t buy what he says, it seems so unreal
I think you are too naive to say it’s over

You told me, he says he has no time for you
that’s cause his mistress is in high demand
You told me, he was feeling blue
that’s cause she left him for another man

The days are getting shorter but the night stays eternal
I’m stuck in a groundhog month...
Just give me some clarity and I’ll smooth everything over
It doesn’t matter if you lie, because I can’t tell it from truth

I miss the floods when the sky would fade black
lightning would strike and I could sleep by candlelight
But I want you, do you want me?
I need you, do you need me?

You told me, he says he has no time for you
that’s cause his mistress is in high demand
You told me, he was feeling blue
that’s cause she left him for another man

The End
