Before We All Freeze

Love should set you on fire

Not turn the world to ice

Because all that flows is cold

Both of you are bitter

Both of you are chilled

The fireplace is ignored

It’s not used despite the temperature in here

Turning the heat on won’t help now

That’s fake, it’s not real

It’s artificial fire and artificial love

Light a real fire

The one you’ve had before

I’ll even run and get the wood

As long as you start a fire

It’ll stop us all from freezing to death.

The End
