Blind Love

Blind love; how could I see

There was nothing there for you and me

Blind love; no future in sight

You can try all you want, but it’ll never be right

Blind love; one sided as well

Too much in love, too numb to tell

Blind love; couldn’t see inside

That you were the kind to run and hide

Blind love; an unfortunate thing

When it gets to the point of a wedding ring

Blind love; burns strong and quick

But always dies out at the end of the wick

Blind love; it got me good

Wish I could have seen like the others could

Blind love; but don’t feel despair

It happens to people everywhere

Blind love; you learn from it

You pick up the pieces and make them fit

Blind love; now don’t feel resent

Just enjoy the memories of good times you spent

Blind love

The End
