Black Widow Marionette

You’re not so great now
your strings have been cut
Swinging low in your morbid style
Loose from any cares

I’m caught in your web of lies
spin me a new tale of indifference
Ready to devour a seasoned boy
I’m not quite the man to show off

I’m not your marionette
I’m not your cause of regret
Indulge in a spree of tourette
But you’ve captured me,
at what cost?

Push me to reveal myself
even when you’re hanging by a thread
One bad move and we’re gone
we’ll fall forever

Black widow, you have no heart
but I’ll see if that is false
I don’t know what keeps me together
it makes it so much easier to collapse

I’m not your marionette
I’m not your cause of regret
Indulge in a spree of tourette
But you’ve captured me,
at what cost?

The End
