Black Sun
Anger fills my soul,
People see only what they want.
Why does no one ever see me,
The real me that hides behind the mask?
Smiles hide tears,
Laughter hides death,
As my heart fades,
Beneath a black sun.
All real life seeps away from me.
Hidden with lies,
And false emotions.
A smile eternally painted on,
Unbreakable walls about my heart.
My heart may die,
But I need no help to kill it,
As it fades beneath a black sun.
