Beyond Which Lies Barbed Wire

Ancient moon so silvery blue,

A midnight lamp so true.

She guides our dreams,

And hides the seams,

Of our cherished midnight memories.

Collecting from the treasuries,

Timeless age and wisdom

Beyond which lies our kingdom.

Ancient moon so silvery blue,

A midnight lamp so true.

She walks us through the starry night,

Once we’ve stopped our flight,

And our wings will carry us no longer.

Collecting from the stronger,

Such a beautiful, exotic fire

Beyond which lies barbed wire.

The End
