Beyond The Wild

About loss, and reflecting on your own (and others') sins

My friends words turn to poison in an instant

Broken, we're all as ugly as each other

In the end, can any sins be truly forgiven

My toxic tears take me over and form a river

Painful mistakes I hold dearly to my heart

I sold myself out of a seat in heaven

They'll make a mess of me

All of us narcissistic and self-destructive

Driven to the point of falling, I can't believe

How much harder now it is to breathe

We're caught out in a fire storm

And out of fear true malice is born

Our souls are wrecked, skinned alive and defiled

As we go flying way past the edge of the wild

Painful mistakes I hold dearly to my heart

I sold myself out of a seat in heaven

The End
