In God's Memory

I said goodbye to you today

In your final bed I saw you lay

To a better place you have gone

You never became the devil’s pawn

All your life you did what was right

And as you enter the long dark night

Not in heaven nor in a fiery hell

To neither place will you dwell

In God’s memory will be the place

Until on paradise Earth we will embrace
