Betrayed With Lies

These wings beat faster

Than your heart, when

You plead to fall apart. It

Propels us closer to the chasm

That steals the breath

For Hades' pleasure.

Snipe down words full

Of downward malice, that

Stings like acid rain,

So thick and cunning--

Breaking the threshold

Of our existence.

And when lightning brightens

Our lies, will these words be

Our demise? You fall into the

Hands of time, so pleasant,

While I await Olympus;

White and fulfilling.

Trickle down my blood,

It runs deep, forgetting all

The darkness I keep,

And bringing forth the

Pain, hate, thy has caused

Upon these sullied lumps of me.

The End
