Before You Walk Away

Before you walk away, turn around to look one more time.

See the figure who once held your heart.

A skeleton full of hurt, guilt, regret and rage.

If you looked, you'd see what you've done to me.

If you don't look back, I'll throw it all away.

I'll leave it behind if you leave me behind.

Turn around or don't; that's your choice.

An island of loneliness will be my kingdom. And you're welcome to be my queen. But nobody else is coming. Your choice.

The End
