Silent! Screams the Night

She sits in her window sill

Hand closed around a pill

Its so hard to get your fill

Out here in the open

Though her walls are bound their broken

She sleeps with her radio,

So she can dream off this vertigo

These nights are so goddamn cold

Your memory is worn and old

She dreams that she could pave your way home in gold,

And you'd love her as you should your own...

Heart is heavy

Mind is light

She screams your name into the night

Wakes with her vices...

Empty as a shell

...Torrent devices

To numb her from this hell

Be still silent night

The End
