Autumnal Flames

This probably sucks, sorry. It was impulsive and I'm not looking it over much.

The leaves fall like small fires all around us;

flame flying between two hearts

And dancing on the wind in the moon light.

Our two bodies pressed together in soft embrace,

Fingers dancing along skin and bone to intertwine

Fitting, knitting together

Changing fists to forevers

And endless possibilities

The tree-lined walk holds a forbidden air,

Dark and shrouded,

Long and winded,

Quiet.

So quiet.

Autumnal flames crunching underfoot as we turn to face the future together-

Dark and shrouded,

Endless possibilities,

Setting fire to long lasting hope

The End
