Hello, I'm Archi and I will be your leader for this Tournament.
How's it?
With the help of my handsome assistant [he objected to being termed "lovely"] I have drawn your competitors. Said assistant has since informed me of the necessity to explain the Tournament here.

The Autumn '09 Poetry Tournament is the second incarnation of Elzu Wolfe's original Summer Tournament. In this second take, we have tripled the number of entrants, with 24 signing up in the space of sixteen days.
In the words of my assistant, "Holy poets!"
In response to this turn-out, I have increased the number of rounds from three to five, with each round increasing in difficulty. So, you know, that final round's gonna kick freakin' butt.
Our judges have a tough task ahead of them: not only casting votes, but also commenting on every poem. But we all know they're up to it. Right?
Right.
This will be fun.....
