Augustborn
There's a sombre air about your room,
There's a darkness in your soul.
Within the wake of your heart,
I rest there and keep you warm.
Gasps explode and send off fireworks,
Inside my mind and enclosed in my body.
Like light and dark we join as one,
A complete and utter eclipse.
My innocence you threw upon the floor,
Along with the fabrics keeping me warm.
I journey to you with a pure heart,
And return home with it broken in love.
