Artist with a Twist

She was always gifted at art, better than most at her age

The more she progressed, the more she depressed

Her best piece of work she despised

For it portrayed her emotions

And not the positive ones I must admit

But not long after that, she gave up all together

And her abilities stayed dormant

Like a flower in a brutal winter

Her next piece of work made her realize that now

She’s an artist with a twist

Her paintbrush is a razor

Her canvas is her wrist.

The End
