as dark as the crow flies

this;
pirouette haunt of night,
this;
ballet of rattle and boat-nudged cacophony.

where
sails unravel; unstitched in mistral coils.
here,
moluscs clung, their voice all a crunch.

dark
as a lion's claw; the snap of umbra shell in skin.
dark
as human fear - white swans as liquid phantom.

feather bitten wings all awash with your scent.

this
dust mote splayed in the ghost of flame.
this;
pirouette haunt of night,

The End
