I had forgotten.

With Christmas and what-not.

I had forgotten.

It was a month of loneliness.

A month of solitude.

And when it was over,

I had forgotten.

Everything I needed to do.

I did not stay in touch.

I always felt that you were missing.

But I had forgotten.

And then I remembered.

Christmas and what-not.

I remembered.

Your gift.

And the smiles we shared.

As we joked of us

being nothing more than

Jesus and Mary Magdalene.

The End
