The Kiss

I see you dancing

In the centre of the floor

Bathed in moonlight

While I hide at the door

You have our attention

Yeah everyone sees you

And I wait unseen

Too scared to move, but you

Couldn’t have known how much you meant, to me, but

You got the message I sent, from my eyes

You take me by the hand, you reach out

I’m tossing and turning,

My vision is blurring

This can only lead to the kiss

You have ignited

A thousand fireworks inside

They may be staring

But we may as well be blind

There’s only us now

The world holds no meaning

We blocking everything oout

And carry on, but how

Could you have known how much you meant, to me?

Was it the meesage I sent, from my eyes?

Still you took me by the hand, you reached out

I’m tossing and turning

My vision is blurring

This can only lead to the kiss

I was a stormcloud

Full of hate and spite

You were the sunshine

A body of love and light

You coaxed out my soul

And the the rain fall

A glorious rainbow

Lies between us, and girl

You must have known how much you meant, to me and

Got the message that I sent, from my eyes

So you take me by the hand and reach out

I’m tossing and turning

My vison is blurring

This can only lead to

Opposite sides of the room or the world

This can only lead to

If a crowd is between us of one or a million

This could only lead to the kiss.

The End
