All High on Oxygen

Coasting along all high on

oxygen,

radium shines off bent metals.

Flashes catch your eye at every single pass-by.

A whole world opening doors just to

close

them

again.

you save, you bake

you take and toil,

no matter

what you do

you still

can't win the soil.

-

Deviations of

ancient demon pictures

creep

along

in the daylight white.

Sloths in rags

gaze

from windows

in a

limp rage,

fed and still hungry.

Their bent marbles glossed over

and worn

deep into

their skulls.

Don't feed the pigeons

that hump down

the sideshow sidewalk blocks.

-

Fending off

the poison green

coming down

from the upriver streams.

Harvest the supersonic

cloud dust, forget

about us, forget

and wither

from trust.

The End
