All Forgiven (World's End)
It's about finally taking the decision to move on from a failing relationship
Our souls caught in a train wreck
Speeding towards a horrible conclusion
Our love on an apex, what happens next?
As we prepare to dispel the illusion
Hearts tear themselves ready to divide
I’ve long ago forgotten
The serenity you made me feel inside
Our love was just waiting to cave in
We caught our breath, a break wasn’t enough
We weighed up both of our sins, and all forgiven
I see the fire die in your eyes
I see it’s time to move on tonight
Hearts once ablaze cool and shatter
And the flag of surrender is unfurled
And it seems all of our years never mattered
And suddenly we reach the end of the world
Souls unbound and set free to wonder
Will I find my way back?
Caught between the lightning and thunder
Our love was just waiting to cave in
We caught our breath, a break wasn’t enough
We weighed up both of our sins, and all forgiven
I see the fire die in your eyes
I see it’s time to move on tonight
