A burning husk; a raped raw shell,
Dead eyes that stare down into hell.
What appeared to me as my saving grace
Was the reason I so ungracefully fell.

What seemed so bright now burns my eyes,
What seemed so true shakes hands with lies.
Can I be the only one who got it right,
When I was the only one who seemed so surprised?

 A corrupted overdosed escape from...
With desperate blistered hands I thought I’d hold on.
You lit the fuse and retreated a safe distance.
My eyes burn red, a suicidal time bomb.

I hurt so much, do you not see?
Why do you parade him in front of me?
Seems our friendship was my mistake,
I can’t believe you gave up on me so easily.

The End
