Fade to Grey

Why do we fade to grey
When we sometimes shine away?
Burning inverted rainbow scars
on each others faces as we play

Why do you fade to grey
After all you do and say
Colorblind, or just eyes squeezed shut
Even through blood spot it's as clear as day

Why do i fade to grey
Whenever you move away
Evolved or devolved, i breathe only you
I suffocate when you don't let me stay

Why do we fade to grey
When we sometimes shine away?

Author guidance for This poem

Kevichella Have someone you want to write something to? Feeling a bit soppy, or love-eyed or broken hearted? Want to express an emotion, either good or bad? Pop a poem on here, and then cunningly accidentally on purpose lead them to this page and let them, against your will of course, read it and then go "ohh... i love you too...!" or "i'm so sorry i hurt you... please... let me have your babies" or "you monster... how could you?! Dieeee! ARGH!!"
