Albatross on the sky

Dreams like wingless birds, try to fly high in the sky, only to fall & get shattered as they get crushed on the stony earth.

Albatross on the sky

Albatross on the sky

Flying high without swinging its wings

Falling stones. Bombs and death

On the alive earth where the life goes on

From one corner to another

People rushing to office

Men with walking sticks

Women hugging infants in their bosoms

Children kicking balls up in the sky

Life goes on as usual

Without feeling shattered from the falling debris

Falling stones. Bombs and death

Simmering sky becoming cool from

Everlasting drizzle on the grass window panels

Silence gets shattered by screams and shouts of hapless people

In and around the glass buildings

Too shattering getting collided by the falling debris

Falling stones. Bombs and death

People gather at the street corner

To look at the blows on their faces

Blows from the swing albatross

Halting for a moment. To walk ahead again

Life goes on as usual

People hovering over the gathering storm

Only to move ahead

Shattered life. Broken wings

Yet the bird dives. Flying high

Swinging. Without spreading its wings

People falling down below on each other

Standing behind them. Taking in their cusps

Only to move ahead with a firm determination

Getting lost in spreading drizzle

From glass window pans to

Rising faces

Life goes on as usual

Unperturbed by falling debris

Falling stones. Bombs and death.

The End
