Broken Soul

I stare down onto your face,

Your skin glowing in the moonlight,

I think of how lucky that I’d have to be,

To be beside you this cold night,

All I feel is your lips against mine,

And your breath against my cheek,

And all I can see is the angel in you,

You make me strong when I’m weak.

Now I know it’s you that I’ve needed,

You are the one that makes me feel whole,

And when my body is broken,

You’re the one that gathers the pieces of my soul.
