Advice For The Broken, A Vice For The Weak

Pump me full of caffeine,
'Til I brim with false tenacity.
Over-efficient; I'm obscene -
I got mettle, guts and moxie.

Drown me all in alcohol,
Until my ego swells in size.
I captivate; I hold in thrall,
I'm catching everybody's eyes.

Puff up my lungs with nicotine,
'Til membrane's charcoal-thick.
Hood eyes, cool gaze and all marine
Fog spews from mouths, ugly and slick.

Take me to my bed of screams.
Watch me twitch; my eyes dilate,
Unfold my paper doll chain dreams;
And feel my shuddered heart deflate.

The End
