On her vanity sits a well-loved teddy bear
Too worn for the bed,
Placed there with care and a kiss.

Covered in rainbow lipstick,
And a wrapper for a glove not so dainty.

Covered in colorful hearts,
And it lands on her treasured teddy,
As if to cover his eyes.
