I could paint you, your perfect picture,
Of diamond streets, no broken love,
The scent of forever after, lingering in the air,
Each breath a waver of his kiss,
Each touch a secret moment of hidden chaos.

I could paint you, a perfect picture,
Of wide eyes and smiles, of children,
Of little kisses, every morning,
Beneath the sheets you share,
I could paint you something perfect,
But why paint what isn't there?
