It’s hard to be in group that isn’t accepting

That everyone has their label

And you don’t have the same

It’s like they treat you differently for it

They have their inside joke

And outrageous stories

And you become ostracized

Like you don’t fit in

Like you have been ignored

And that you don’t belong

Who wants to feel this way?

When you feel you don’t have a voice

And you’re not “labeled” like them

Who would treat you like this?

At times they have secrets that no one else knows

And every time you just want to be a part of that

To feel like you belong

That you’re liked

And that you are accepted

Because it is so hard to stand on stage

In the spotlight

And feel as though you don’t belong

And that you don’t feel accepted

The End
